A failure as a clone, a fearsome war machine. Delta is one of the most aggressive Inners in Kara: a synthetic human born from a failed clone of Akebi, Amado's daughter, turned into a near-complete cyborg with a spare body. Her eyes absorb chakra and then send it back, but the ability can be overloaded — Naruto realizes this when she comes for Kawaki at the Uzumaki home. And it is Amado, not Code, who puts an end to her run.

A war machine with a spare body: Delta is one of the most aggressive Inners in Kara. Sent to retrieve Kawaki, she comes up against the Seventh Hokage himself. Meet the cyborg built by Amado.

An Inner of Kara

Delta is an Inner, a member of the inner circle of the Kara organization. Impulsive, arrogant, and cruel, she embodies the purely offensive side of the organization.

Her body is packed with scientific ninja tools made of replaceable parts: Amado describes her as a true "living scientific ninja tool".

A Failed Clone Turned Cyborg

Her origin, revealed in the manga, is tragic. Delta is a synthetic human — a failed clone of Akebi, Amado's late daughter. The clone has her voice, her appearance, and her memories, but not her personality.

Amado then turned that body into a near-complete cyborg. It is a failure that doubles as a weapon: Amado never "resurrected" his daughter through her.

Amado, the white-haired scientist, is the one who turned this failed clone into a cyborg.

Eyes That Devour Chakra

Her eyes are her signature weapon: one absorbs chakra-based techniques, the other sends them back at her opponent. Her absorption ability, however, can be overloaded.

She can also turn her limbs into weapons and into thrusters for flight, and she carries in her back a spy drone that can be piloted without chakra — and is therefore undetectable to sensors.

Her eyes do not just absorb chakra: they send it back, and they also fire this beam.

The Duel Against Naruto

Her mission: retrieve Kawaki, who has taken refuge with the Uzumaki. There she faces not Isshiki, but Naruto himself, who has come to protect the boy and his own children.

Naruto exploits her weakness: he overloads her absorption with a giant Rasengan, more chakra than her eyes can take. In a striking detail, Kawaki loses his right arm there blocking an eye beam aimed at Himawari.

Stopped by Amado, Not by Code

Cornered, Delta triggers her self-destruct, then is reborn in a backup body by way of her drone. Her "death" is therefore never final.

A point to correct: it is not Code who kills her. She catches Amado fleeing the base; he triggers the shutdown command built into her programming and takes her offline. In Two Blue Vortex, Amado will reactivate her in the service of Konoha.

FAQ

  • Is Delta a robot or a human?
Neither, strictly speaking: she is a synthetic human — a failed clone of Akebi, Amado's late daughter — whose body was turned into a near-complete cyborg with replaceable parts. The clone had Akebi's voice, appearance, and memories, but not her personality.
  • Who does Delta face when she comes for Kawaki?
Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage, who protects Kawaki and his own children at the Uzumaki home — not Isshiki. Naruto defeats her by exploiting her chakra absorption: he overloads it with an oversized Rasengan, more chakra than her eyes can take.
  • How does Delta survive her defeat?
Cornered, she triggers her self-destruct to drive her opponents back. Her spy drone, left intact, reaches a Kara base, connects to a terminal, and reactivates her in a backup body.
  • Is it Code who killed Delta?
No — a classic trap. She is taken offline by the shutdown command Amado built into her programming, when she catches him fleeing the base. Code is only "the last surviving Inner," which wrongly leads people to believe he eliminated her.
  • Are Delta and Deepa the same character?
No. Deepa is an anime-only Inner whose power rests on manipulating carbon up to the hardness of diamond. Delta is a cyborg who appears in both the manga and the anime. There is no connection between the two.

In summary

Delta alone sums up the new order of Boruto: a weapon born of grief, unkillable, who pushes Naruto to his limits and costs Kawaki an arm. Behind her violence lies Amado's pain — and the proof that, in Kara, even the monsters are lost children.
