The most dangerous member of Kara never raises a fist. Amado, head of research and a non-combatant scientific genius, methodically engineered the downfall of his own master, Isshiki Otsutsuki. This feature takes apart his feigned loyalty, his plan running through Kashin Koji, his defection to Konoha, and his real motivation: bringing back his dead daughter, Akebi. Along the way, it lists his creations — Koji, a clone of Jiraiya, the cyborgs Eida and Daemon, and Delta, a failed clone of Akebi.
The most dangerous member of Kara never raises a fist: Amado is a scientist, not a fighter. And yet he is the one who methodically engineered the downfall of his own master, Isshiki Otsutsuki.

Kara's Scientific Mastermind
Amado is an Inner of Kara and the head of its research division. A non-combatant genius, he designs the scientific ninja tools and modifies the bodies of the organization's members.
His past remains unclear: contrary to a widespread belief, the series does not establish that he comes from Konoha. He will later defect to the village, which is very different from originating there.

A Feigned Loyalty
His loyalty to Kara was never anything but a calculation. Isshiki had promised him he would resurrect his daughter; Amado played along to obtain the means for his own project.
Realizing that Isshiki was aiming for the destruction of the planet, and doubting that he would keep his word, he turns against him. He is a double agent, not a loyal scientist.

Akebi, His Real Motivation
Everything about Amado stems from a bereavement: his daughter Akebi died of an illness about a dozen years before Isshiki's assault on Konoha.
His only driving force is to bring her back. His failed clone, Delta, carries her appearance and her memories — but not her personality, hence an obsession that has never died down.

The Plan to Kill Isshiki
The scheme is remarkably cold-blooded. Through his secret ally, Amado has Jigen's body burned with natural flames containing no chakra — which Karma cannot absorb.
The result: Isshiki is forced to reincarnate into a dying vessel with a very limited lifespan. And under the Otsutsuki rule, that reincarnation erases the backup Karma carried by Kawaki. Naruto and his allies then only have to deliver the final blow.

The Creator of Koji, Eida, and Delta
Amado's genius is measured by his creations. He is behind Kashin Koji, a clone of the Sannin Jiraiya built to kill Isshiki, as well as the cyborgs Eida and Daemon, brother and sister.
He also heavily modified the bodies of Kawaki, Code and Boro. One point not to confuse: Kawaki's original Karma came from Isshiki, not from him.

The Defection to Konoha
Once Isshiki is doomed, Amado goes over to Konoha and hands over everything: the intelligence on Kara, the Otsutsuki, Karma, and the Ten-Tails. He is granted citizenship under the protection of the Seventh Hokage.
But his reliability remains uncertain. He had never warned Koji that he would most likely die in the confrontation — and in the ongoing arc, he is still trying to convince Kawaki to help him bring Akebi back. Since Boruto is an ongoing series, his true intentions may still turn around.

FAQ
-
Is Amado just a scientist loyal to Kara? No. He is indeed an Inner of Kara, but he is a double agent: his loyalty was feigned and self-serving (Isshiki's promise to resurrect his daughter). He secretly orchestrates Isshiki's downfall, then defects to Konoha. Careful: nothing indicates that he is himself originally from Konoha.
-
How did Amado get Isshiki killed?Through his clone Kashin Koji: he has Jigen's body burned with natural flames containing no chakra, forcing Isshiki to reincarnate into a dying vessel with a very limited lifespan, and to lose his backup Karma (Kawaki's). Amado only creates the conditions; Naruto and his allies then finish him off.
-
Who did Amado create or modify? He created Kashin Koji (a clone of Jiraiya), Eida and Daemon (cyborgs) and Delta (a failed clone of his daughter Akebi). He also heavily modified the bodies of Kawaki, Code, and Boro. Careful: Kawaki's original Karma came from Isshiki, not from him.
-
What is his real motivation?Bringing back his daughter Akebi, who died of an illness about a dozen years before Isshiki's assault. Everything — his entry into Kara, the betrayal, the defection, the manipulation of Kawaki — serves that strictly personal goal.
-
Can he be trusted after his defection?Nothing is guaranteed. He had not warned Koji that he was risking death, and in the ongoing arc he is still pushing Kawaki toward a deal that serves his own ends. Since Boruto is an ongoing series, his reliability may still change.
In summary
Amado is the invisible strategist of the Boruto era: neither hero nor monster, only a grieving father ready to manipulate gods and villages for an impossible return. His plan brought down an Otsutsuki — but where he will stop is still unknown.
