How do you kill an enemy who heals faster than you can wound him? Boro, Kara's fanatical Inner, owes his near-instant regeneration to a heart-sized core that he moves around inside his body. His black mist spreads a paralyzing virus that is not chakra — and therefore impossible to absorb. Here is the story of his clash with Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki and Kawaki inside his own dimension, and of the secret about Eida that he kept to the very end.

A fanatic who is almost impossible to kill: Boro regenerates faster than you can wound him and poisons the air around him. But his greatest impact on Boruto comes down to a secret he hid. Here is the Inner of Kara.

A Fanatical Inner

Boro is an Inner of Kara, one of the modified members of the inner circle of Isshiki, alongside Delta and Code. But he is also a religious fanatic.

He leads a cult that worships the Otsutsuki as savior gods, promising salvation and peace through the Infinite Tsukuyomi. His followers stay devoted to him until death.

The Core That Drives His Regeneration

His strength comes down to a core — a heart-sized implant that he can move around inside his body to keep it away from blows. This core drives a near-instant regeneration that lets him survive fatal wounds.

It is also his one weak point: destroying it is the only way to stop him. But since it stabilizes his modifications, destroying it triggers an uncontrolled mutation — a giant, misshapen, tentacled form driven by blind rage.

A Mist That Is Not Chakra

His black mist spreads a fast-acting paralyzing virus . A crucial point that is often misunderstood: it is physical matter, not chakra — so the Karma cannot absorb it, and it does not “dissolve” anything at all.

Boro himself is immune to it thanks to antibodies. The team facing him gets protection by obtaining those antibodies: the snake belonging to Mitsuki draws Boro's blood to immunize the children.

The Fight Against Boruto's Team

In his own dimension, Boro kept the coffin in which Isshiki had sealed Naruto — so he is not the one who sealed the Hokage. Boruto's team teleports there to free him: Boruto, Sarada (acting captain), Mitsuki and Kawaki. Konohamaru does not take part.

Sarada locates the core with her Sharingan and destroys it with a Chidori. Boro switches into rampage mode, but Boruto, then possessed by Momoshiki, finishes him off with a giant Rasengan.

The Secret of Eida and Daemon

Here is the act that weighs on everything that follows. Isshiki had ordered Boro to eliminate Eida, judged too dangerous. Having fallen under her charm, Boro was unable to do it.

Instead he hid her, along with her brother Daemon, in stasis in a hideout of his cult. After his death, Code finds them there and wakes them — and that awakening sets off the entire plot of Two Blue Vortex.

Boro had hidden Eida and her brother in stasis; their awakening, after his death, opens up the whole rest of the story.

Summary Table

Aspect Details
Identity Inner (cyborg member) of the Kara organization; also the leader of a cult that worships the Otsutsuki as savior gods.
Regeneration A heart-sized “core” that he moves around inside his body drives near-instant healing. Destroying the core is the only way to stop him — but that triggers a giant, uncontrolled mutation.
Mist / virus Black mist spreading a paralyzing virus — physical matter, NOT chakra, and therefore NOT absorbable by the Karma. Boro is immune (antibodies); the team immunizes itself with the blood drawn by Mitsuki's snake. Does NOT dissolve chakra.
The fight Boruto, Sarada (acting capt.), Mitsuki and Kawaki, inside Boro's dimension, to free Naruto who is sealed there (by Isshiki, not by Boro). Without Konohamaru.
Defeat & legacy Sarada destroys the core (Chidori + Sharingan) → rampage mode → Boruto, possessed by Momoshiki, finishes him with a Rasengan. Boro dies in Part 1, but having hidden Eida and Daemon fuels everything that follows.

FAQ

  • How do you kill Boro if he regenerates endlessly?
You have to destroy his hidden “core” — a heart-sized implant that he moves around inside his body and that drives his regeneration. Sarada locates it with her Sharingan and destroys it with a Chidori. That triggers his rampage mode (a giant, uncontrolled mutation); in the end it is Boruto, possessed by Momoshiki, who finishes him off with a giant Rasengan.
  • Why doesn't Boruto and Kawaki's Karma absorb his mist?
Because the black mist spreads a virus — physical matter — and not a chakra technique; and the Karma only absorbs chakra. The team protects itself another way: Mitsuki's snake draws Boro's blood to recover the antibodies and immunize the children.
  • Does Konohamaru fight Boro?
No. The fight pits Boruto, Sarada (acting captain), Mitsuki and Kawaki against him, inside Boro's dimension. Konohamaru is not there; in the anime, he infiltrates Boro's cult after Boro's death, to gather intelligence on Kara.
  • What is Boro's connection to Eida and Daemon?
Isshiki had tasked Boro with eliminating Eida, judged too dangerous. Under the influence of her charm, Boro refused and hid her instead, along with Daemon, in stasis in a hideout of his cult. After his death, Code recovers them there, which sets off the plot of Part 2.
  • Is Boro just a mercenary or a true fanatic?
A religious fanatic: he leads a cult that worships the Otsutsuki as savior gods, promising salvation and peace through the Infinite Tsukuyomi. His followers stay devoted to him to the point of dying for him.

In summary

Boro is not just an unkillable boss: he is the man whose one weakness — giving in to Eida's charm — redrew the entire future of Boruto. Beaten by a team of children, he still leaves behind, by hiding two cyborgs, the seed of the biggest storyline of the new generation.
